Ever since 1972, ASE (which stands for the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence) has strived to raise the standards of automobile service and repair through their certification test ensuring that ASE certified technicians are professionals.

Since ASE drives to ensure the best technicians, there are exams that all our technicians need to pass for us to hold our certification. These exams are designed by a panel of industries professionals to insure that they cover all the essential components of being a great automotive technician. “The exams [also] stress knowledge of job-related skills. The tests are no cinch to pass… After passing at least one exam and providing proof of two years of relevant work experience, the test-taker becomes ASE certified. To remain certified, ASE certified professionals must be retested every five years” (ASE.com).

Unlike some shops, Ward Motor Clinic has gone above and beyond to ensure your vehicle is in the best hands! While we do not have to be ASE certified, we do so in order for you, the customer, to be at ease. When you come into our shop you can be sure that your technician is up to date with the latest techniques and that their knowledge on repairs and service are pristine. Also, you know that our technicians are well seasoned, having at least two years under their belt, so any problem you throw their way they not only know how to fix but have done so many times in the past. ASE certification is another sign that our technicians are experienced and trained.
